The snow is flying and the temperatures are falling.  Believe it or not, now is the time to “think summer” if your plans include summer camp.  The Nordonia Middle School PTSA will host a Summer Camp Fair, Saturday, February 7, 2009from 10 am through 1:30 pm in the Middle School Cafeteria on Leonard Avenue, Northfield.

Day camps, sleep away camps, nature camps, sport camps, academic camps, theater camps, family camps, camps for kids with special needs - - how do you choose?  Visitors to the Summer Camp Fair will learn how to find a camp that’s right for each child and will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from camps near and far.

Representatives from over 250 camps will be invited to submit information about their programs or to attend in person.  Programs for all ages will be represented, as there are camps for children as young as six years old, for teens as old as eighteen, and even for families.   

We’re planning fun activities for all.  All attendees can enter to win a free week at Mac Rec Day Camp.  Younger kids can participate in a scavenger hunt.  We're hosting a Guitar Hero tournament in the media center. And you can enter a drawing to win a one of several raffle baskets with “Summer Fun” themes.  While you're here, stop by the concession stand for a bite to eat!
